Description
NXP Semiconductors announces a Safety Manual update to Revision 3.0 for the FS6500 and
FS4500 ASIL D system basis chip (SBC) products associated with this notification. The revision
history included in the updated document provides a detailed description of the changes. Changes
are summarized below.
Safety Manual Changes:
1. Document text and image format changes throughout to comply with NXP Semiconductors
guidelines.
2. Section 1.4, Table 2: added table title ?Safety documentation?.
3. Section 5.7.4: added new last paragraph starting with ?The release commands??, and a
reference to Section 5.4, Table 20.
